Rayhan Dharmawan’s review published on Letterboxd:
I feel the messages their trying to tell are told too literal, it doesn’t make us contemplate and think. That also goes for the mystery stuff, it kinda seem to easy for her to decipher and it doesn’t satisfy me when Enola founds a clue to the next goal.
Did I have fun? No. There were a lot of scenes where I left it to go to the bathroom or playing my phone. The story didn’t really make me care so much. The fourth wall breaking is kinda annoying for me.
But I understand and kinda have a feeling that this film was meant for kids, and maybe if I’m a kid I would enjoy it. Personally think that this film fits in Disney+ rather than Netflix.
Overall, I should’ve watched something else to spend my free time.
