"If men had periods we'd hear about them all the time."
"The Worst Person in the World" is a very unique rom-com! This proves that rom-coms can evolve and tread new water in a way that is funny without covering the same topics. The film consists of 12 chapters and every single one of them feels like the heartbeat of the film.
Joachim Trier direction was terrific. The way he was able to tell a story of 3 people who are at different stages through a woman's point of view is incredible. Jasper Tuxen's cinematography was remarkable, it was fresh & captured very vulnerable moments in a very creative way. That freeze frame sequence of Julie running was just mind-blowing. Also Reinsve and Danielsen had amazing chemistry together, every scene with the two of them together was fabulous.
