R Esteban’s review published on Letterboxd:
Surprisingly effective. I had heard some cynicism about Lamb, and I was prepared to dismiss it as a lesser A24 release. Much to my shock, I found it entirely engaging and surprisingly moving. There is quite a universality in parenthood or even pet ownership upon which the audience may seize upon and relate to. Noomi Rapace gives a ferocious and committed performance supported by wonderfully menacing supporting actors and wonderfully menacing cinematography. It’s such a clear thesis told in such a distinct voice that I cannot help but be utterly impressed by Vladimir Jóhansson in his debut.
