Esteban Gonzalez’s review published on Letterboxd:
The hipster version of Spider-Man was not something that I was really looking forward to, but the opening scene with the Post Malone Sunflower song set the tone for what the animated film was going to be and look like. And I was in for it! First of all the animation makes this Spider-Man look cool and slick. I had no idea about the multiple universes in Spider-Man so it was fun to discover each different version of Peter Parker (although the Spider-Pig was a little too far fetched for my taste) and Gwen Stefani. This was a very upbeat animated film and the story was entertaining. For an animation film this is one of the rare cases where both adults and kids will enjoy. I think that with each rewatch the film also gets better and better.
