I'm not saying this is a great film, but i found it to be quite a good satire of 80s films in places. The girls singing & dancing in the locker room was a fabulous send up.
I was a teenager in the 80s so this made me laugh.
And really, anything with Zelda Rubinstein is an automatic thumbs up by me.

Tom Thumb 1958
A very lightweight fantasy film from the 50s.
It has so much going against it - for one the fact that Russ Tamblyn was much too old for the part.
But ultimately it was kind of entertaining.
It might not have been Ray Harryhausen doing the stopmotion effects but the toys were still lovely and amazing. It's a pity they didn't appear more often.
For the animation alone I give it 3***

I've watched plenty of films from the '20s, and I've given a lot of them pretty high scores, but i have to say.... This film is... Amazing!
This film is everything thay say it is. And more.
I was mesmerised from the beginning to the end.
There are not all that many films I would give 5 stars to, in fact less than half a dozen so far.
But this is definitely one of them.

Interesting from a historical perspective. Otherwise a pretty poor film experience.
