Everything Everywhere All at Once

Everything Everywhere All at Once ★★★★½

This film is the batshit crazy explosion of chaotic creativity and vibrant human emotion that the film world, (and shit, maybe the world period) desperately needs right now.

I cannot remember the last time I laughed, gasped, grinned, and cried this much in a movie. Michelle Yeoh delivers the performance of a lifetime. Ke Huy Quan and Stephanie Hsu are hilarious, heartbreaking, and will be showered with awards later this year if there’s any justice in the world.

The final act of this insane ride is the most emotionally affecting thing I’ve seen in a very, very long time. I’m still processing all my feelings. I could go on and on about the stunning visuals, the unbridled originality, the unhinged humor, the incredible action, but I feel the less you know, the more special this masterpiece is.

What a gloriously entertaining celebration of humanity, and everything the movies are capable of.
