    Blade Runner 2049

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

First thing's first, this is one of the most beautifully shot films I've ever seen. The colors, the aesthetics, the soundtrack, all outstanding. I also really enjoy some of the symbolism they used, like the scene where K finds the dead tree with the date on it, and the scene with the daughter (I'll get to her in a bit). I also found it funny that Ryan Gosling fit way too perfectly into playing an android.

I really enjoyed this. I honestly wonder if this took inspiration from Robert Downey Sr.'s Putney Swope, cause it shows. It almost felt like a modern fable in the way it was presented. The acting and directing are top notch, and the themes of the film were conveyed pretty well. I have some issues with it being a bit too on the nose in a lot of areas, like how Cashius Green (haha) laments the…

Right off the bat, this film is absolutely breathtaking with its visuals. The director's style is very vibrant and nice to look at. He has a good sense of color balance and movement. I haven't seen the Tatami Galaxy yet, but I plan to sometime in the future. Also, the trademark fast paced delivery of the actors is a charming touch. I bet if I understood Japanese, I'd get a lot more out of the dialogue.

Not gonna rate this film because I don't know how you would even begin. It's a film where it's genuinely bad, but its influence and pure mastery of the "disaster artist" mindset is unparelelled. This is one of the most quotable films I've ever seen and, honestly, it's pretty cum.

Easily Fincher's best work. Better than anything else he's done, even Seven. The amount of attention to detail and being true-to-life is immaculate. From the street corners, to the portrayals of the real murders according to the victims, this film is more accurate than it ever needed to be, but it adds so much to the authenticity of the film. It blurs the line of artistic recreation and official documentary. Honestly, Fincher didn't need to make anything after ascending to godhood with this, which probably should've been for the better considering how oof Gone Girl was.
