It’s movies like these that remind me why I love film. Walking into The Lighthouse I knew it was going to be something special. My eyes were glued to the screen. One of the most hyponotic and atmospheric pieces of cinema I have ever seen. After the movie was over I sat there for a minute thinking it was great and all, but it didn’t hit me until later on the car ride home. I was sitting there, and I couldn’t stop thinking about how much I love this film. Both performances are phenomenal. Easily Oscar worthy. I was honestly dissapointed at first that it was so left up to interpretation, but after pondering it for a while i’m so glad it was.
