    Ordinary People


    Ordinary People could have been a very cheesy and emotionally manipulative family drama about grief but it's amazing. The performances are fantastic, I love how the emotions don't feel contrived or forced. The whole film is so humane and honest, in a very heartbreaking way; especially the therapy scenes towards the end elevate the film to another level, they simultaneously feel like a stab in the heart and also as a long-awaited catharsis.

    I wish I were drunk while watching this. But I definitely recommend it if you want to witness the best worst faux British accent.
