Evan DePasquale’s review published on Letterboxd:
I seriously cannot put into words what this film is all about. I can tell you that it really really sticks with you. For me, it is also particularly very depressing and it made me feel empty. But that is what makes it such a beautiful film. That and the fact that for me it was more of an experience that felt like dreaming as everything is not what it seems.
Again, there is so much I could say about this film, but it is truly something you should watch for yourself at some point. However, the one thing I can say with certainty is that Charlie Kaufman has created something that will stick with me for a very very long time.
And that was undoubtedly, exactly his point and he wanted the viewer to feel this way, regardless of whether they liked it or not.
