I feel super bad about this film, but I seriously did not understand what it was really going for. It could be because my brain really is just fried at the moment, but I was finding it really hard to connect with any of it. I think some of the scenes that had to do with the feelings of loneliness were very raw and it made me feel empty, but it might have just been too miserable for me. I really don’t know. I feel like there is something just going over my head on this one which I again feel bad about because I liked the style and sound a lot. I think on a more open-minded rewatch (or just some explaining of the story) this rating can only go up, but for now I really can’t rate it any higher :(
