Evan Davies’s review published on Letterboxd:
It’s like if Nerve had a baby with the Borderlands game series.
This film doesn’t take itself seriously in the slightest, which I quite like. The cinematography and production design is heavily inspired by video games, along with its comicbook-esque graphics that appear on screen.
The main thing that is disappointing for me in this film is the acting, I don’t know if Radcliffe was the right cast for the lead. But the performances on the whole are very plain and the characters had little substance. It really distracts from the vibrant colours and blood splatters.
Really cool concept though, definitely a fun film to watch in the background.
