I know that I am late to the party, but I FINALLY saw Barbie today. There is not much that I can add in a review that has not been written thousands of times. At the time of me writing this review, his movie has 1.8 million watches on Letterboxd, more than 600,000 reviews, and just from my mutual friend list, has more than 1000 watches and 1100 reviews. At the very end of Palm Springs, it says this movie is a Hulu original. Is it though? The "caught in a time loop" storyline has been used often before. So much so that watching this movie made me feel like I had seen it all before. Palm Spring is an updated Groundhog Day with a bit of Wedding Crashers thrown in.
