  I did not rewatch this. I just wanted to share that, until three years ago, I genuinely believed that this movie was just a nightmare I had at seven years old while I was sick with the flu.

  This one is hard to describe. It's just so dull. I had bad expectations, mostly about it being a Welles hitpiece, but thankfully, it wasn't exactly that. Sure, it's inaccurate. Sure, Welles falls into the toxic genius box everyone's so desperate to put him in (and, for the record, Burke is the best biopic Welles I've seen to date). But it's moreso the articles recycling null information—and Fincher himself—that perpetuate the most damning lies; not this movie.
