I had my hopes up really high here, so I was hoping for a bit more, but it was still very good. Very cool that Tilda played three characters in this film!?! I'm not sure why that was necessary, but still cool. The young actresses were all fantastic. The film-work was well done & I liked how they tried to capture some characteristics of the original film, such as panning to the facade in the rain as the girl arrives at the academy. There was a bit of drama that I felt was lacking, for the architecture as well as for certain scenes, but there was definitely makeup artistry & uncomfortable thrills & creepy intruiging flashscenes. I think it could have been edited down a bit; especially for Scene 5 with Mother Makos but it was an affective interesting film. & I liked the side story with the psychologist :) also, Tom Yorke's soundtrack is very nice but I wish it blended a bit more to add a bit more drama. Still, really good.
