i've actually never seen this movie before, which is dumb because in middle school i bought "new perspective" by panic at the disco on itunes and spent way too long staring at megan fox on the soundtrack's cover, playing that song on repeat and wondering what the hell this movie was actually about.
obviously i figured it out and then lied about having seen it for years. so i finally watched it and i liked it! it wasn't what i expected from the wikipedia summary i read almost a decade ago, but i really enjoyed the unexpectedness of it. also, really enjoyed the melding of female friendship/desire that goes on in it. also i liked that adam brody was in it (i've been thinking about the oc a lot lately lol).
it was honestly a really enjoyable movie, and i get why it's a cult classic.
