"A grown man with a cat. Is that part of your ACT?"
Watched Inside Llewyn Davis for the 2nd time.
Just like Miller's Crossing, Barton Fink, this is a Coen Brothers movie that is SO much better the second time. Once expectations are gone, you can accept a movie for what it is.
I liked it, the first time. But I seriously think this is a perfect movie now.
Soundtrack alone makes it a 9/10.
But the characters both big and small, the dialog and the look of this movie just make it a 10.
Roger Deakins+Coen Brothers is gold, but I need Bruno Delbonnel to make another movie with them.
Then there's Oscar Isaac, who is now one of the best actors working right now, I believe. I like him even more in this after seeing him in A Most Violent Year (don't care for that movie, but HE was outstanding).
So yeah, I love this movie now.
If you haven't seen Inside Llewyn Davis, I'd have to recommend it as a movie you need to watch at least twice.
