    Station Eleven

Post-Apocalyptic poetry at its best, wonderfully written and almost perfectly executed. While Mackenzie Davis is a fact, Matilda Lawler was a revelation.

Fuck, so many faces I know lol (Chanel Preston was a nice surprise), anyway this is pretty solid, I mean, probably in other hands (Sean Baker) could have been even better but this is a great debut.
Most comments here about how bad porn is and bla bla bla are pretty lame, you should check how many pornstars Ninja Thyberg follows on her Instagram.
About the ending, Onlyfans may be the answer.

    Red Rocket

Since 'Prince of Broadway' Baker delivered only masterpieces, with 'Starlet' being my favorite one. Red Rocket instead is ''only'' a good movie with some problems:
    -Lack of an emotional payoff
-Too long and a little bit repetitive

I loved the cinematography and the way he filmed that Texas town is the reason why Baker is one of the best.

Best opening of the year and first half really solid. Then Carax lost control or I simply don't like where he goes.
Howard Wolowitz, I knew you had it!

  • The Green Knight

    The Green Knight

Visually striking, the ending made me smile, there's a reason why Lowery edited 'Upstream Color'.
    Not my favorite one though.

All'annuncio mi aspettavo un disastro, per fortuna lo amiamo tutti talmente tanto da essere riusciti a tirare fuori un ritratto dignitoso per una persona straordinaria.

While I'm not fully (yet still thinking about it) into the last act, this is a wonderful character study and probably the best look at social media since 'Eighth Grade'. What a combo, actually.

From 'Simon Killer' to this, I am speechless.
Everything here feels like a cynical joke, just imagine 'The Place Beyond The Pines' without Cianfrance's sensitivity nor any real purpose.

    Girls' Last Tour

    Post-Apocalyptic masterpiece, a great achievement I won't forget.

"This is the worst possible parenting I can imagine"
Tone, set and match, Shannon Murphy. The way she totally embraces her characters is the thing I love the most about it.

"Your love is killing me" - Sharon Van Etten

Oh what a stormy night to be killed by Cianfrance.
