Donnie Darko is the reason I'm still here with depression?
I watched the director's cut of this.
took a bit to find its footing but this shined the most when it showed its heart. beanie feldstein, I don't know a better person. her comedic timing is impeccable and I love her. would love to marry her one day. kaitlyn dever as the awkward lesbian is literally me. and that bathroom scene...(Jacob don't interact)
Billie Jean King: *has sex with a girl for the first time*
Me: god I wish that were me
Billie Jean King: *drives down the California coast, flirting with the girl she likes, wind in their hair, listening to music*
Me: god I wish...
Billie Jean King: *holds that girl's hand, kisses her tenderly*
I swear I'm not trying to be cynical I really went into this thinking I would like it but this was borderline insufferable to me. A vapid take at fame, addiction, and stardom without saying anything. and I never got a sense of who the fuck Ally or Jackson even were. who was Ally besides someone that wanted to sing and be famous and who was Jackson besides an addict? let's keep Bradley Cooper away from writing and directing forever…
