This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Couple of scattered thoughts.
The second half of this makes this really underwhelming. The decision to "sacrifice" Ilsa (probably the most charming character in the entire franchise) for Grace was a rather annoying one, and it went downhill from that point. There wasn't really a stand out set piece in this like in previous installments.
But boy, Pom Klementieff absolutely slays in this.
Sadly, a tier below the last 3/4 installments.

Lonergan somehow finds a way to make you laugh while tugging at your heart strings when watching his wonderfully crafted pain-infused family dramas. His films are basically real life. You're not watching a film.
A film about a grief-stricken irritable and insufferable asshole who's just trying to pick up the broken pieces of himself. A heartbreaking film that doesn't go over the top or emotionally manipulate you but just shows a broken…
