Beautifully and emotionally painful is the best way I can describe this film.
As soon as this began, it really put me in a specific mood. It certainly didn't shy away from depicting the hardships of life. Some scenes just felt painful to watch. It was really palpable to feel what the characters were feeling.
I won't be joyfully returning to this anytime soon because I think I'd really have to be in the right mood for it. Nonetheless, I'm glad I watched it.
