Seeing this again made me miss Greta Gerwig's acting, though I'm glad she's writing and directing nowadays.
Still think it's a great Noah Baumbach film and it's one of my favourites from him. Especially love the black and white cinematography and how it captured contemporary New York. There's just a great spirit to it that makes me feel alive, those running through the streets scenes being a prime example. The tone is handled well and it's all obviously carried by Gerwig's performance as the whirlwind Frances.
