"Today, just do what you can."
This was one of the more memorable theatre experiences I've had and even without a great crowd, my feeling of love for this movie is not lost. Taika Waititi's comedic satire hits every mark for me. It brilliantly and hilariously shows how impressionable young kids are, as well as the importance of not blindly following the pack. The story still makes me laugh and also still manages break my heart (you know the moment). For these reasons and a boatload of others, it is truly one of my personal favourites and represents Waititi in top form.
