Watching with subtitles probably wouldn't have even helped that much.

Had a feeling this wouldn't be for me and it's unfortunate that it turned out to be that way. The slow descent into madness didn't captivate me much since you know it's coming. Found a handful of moments to be amusing and that's really it. Performances were respectable and very committed and this shows a strong sense of artistic vision, but that's not a guarantee that I'd like the film. It was nice to finally see what all the hype was about though.
