Beautiful. Stunning. Original. Emotional. Gripping. Poignant.
This film broke me. Your Name surprised me on absolutely every level. I knew little going in and was completely blown away.
Makoto Shinkai masterfully crafts an intimate and intricate film dealing with time, loss and fate. The animation is some of the best I've ever seen. A lot of the frames in this film alone are better than plenty of entire movies out there. Once this ended, I immediately wanted to watch it again.
Wow, what a truly marvelous film.
