They don’t make ‘em like this anymore.
This brought me back to the 12th grade; wearing my Hunger Games tee shirt, reading the book one last time before going to see the movie opening day, rushing to get good seats, the little butterflies in my stomach, opening credits show up and I’m already crying like a baby.
The Hunger Games is not a perfect movie but it’s almost how I imagined it while reading the books (more or less). It didn’t feel rushed or forced. The characters were believable, storyline flowed perfectly; although I could do without the shaky camera. And it definitely made me want pita bread.
