he proclaimed his love for her as they argue under a canopy of raindrops. she stares at his statue with passion in her eyes. in the mist she sees him arrive. and in the night they share their first kiss.

The rain scene. The hand flex moment. Oh, be still my heart. I think this is what romantic movies are missing nowadays. You can  feel the passion burning just by the two characters staring at each other.

I am Turning Red with love for this adorable movie. I absolutely loved the animation style (too cute!) and the pop of colors were *chef’s kiss*.

Sadly enough, even as a 28 year old and living in a Southeast Asian household, I am able to relate to Mei-Mei’s need for her mother’s approval as well as having a controlling mother. Unlike Mei-Mei, I haven’t been able to break free from the shackles of my own mother.

    This movie is pure…

    The Adam Project

    ★★★

Gave me hardcore Back to the Future, E.T, and Stranger Things vibe and then it just takes a ridiculous turn towards the end of the movie.

The child star stole the show; reminded me so much of Jack Dylan Grazer in It. Hilarious pairing with Ryan Reynolds and Mark Ruffalo. But even the humor couldn’t save the disaster of this movie (and I’m only talking about the the second half of the movie).

I am obsessed with time travel films…

    The Good:
Clint Eastwood in a poncho, the music, the landscape.

    The Bad:
The dubbing, lack of tumbleweed rolling in the background during showdowns.

    The Ugly:
    Still Tuco.

Me to Xu Wenwu: No, don’t die. You’re too sexy 🥺

I can’t believe it took me so long to finally get around to watching it. Shang-Chi was amazing. The visuals were absolutely stunning. But what stuck out to me more was the fight scenes. Possibly some of the best fight sequences since Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Still awestruck over how swift the movements were especially the fight scene in the beginning with Xu and Leiko.

    What a beautiful…

Nostalgia hit hard with this one. 10 seconds in and I started tearing up. In my humble opinion, no franchise has had this much of an impact than Harry Potter. It’s pure magic, no pun intended.

I expected Vin Diesel to pop up with the amount of times the word “family” was said.

This was an extremely adorable movie. Without any twists and evil characters, it still managed to be likable.
