Don't usually double dip in cinemas but I wanted to see the director's cut and it isn't on the blu-ray (eat my ass, Lionsgate) so who knows when I'd have the chance otherwise.
I still like this a lot. I've settled into probably preferring this to Hereditary. This one doesn't have as many bumps quality wise in the last parts which helped.
As far as the new content what was there was nice but it definitely wasn't something absolutely substantial or whatever. The original/theatrical version is a very much complete film on its own. If I didn't already want Christian to be dead 5 minutes into the film originally some of the new scenes would've made sure of that.
I want to sit in a bulky pyramid of flowers tbh.
