I find it very difficult to discuss this film, even after rewatching...so here's some points I jotted down:
Daniel Plainview never sleeps in a bed.
It feels like a horror-western at both all of and none of the time.
I've abandoned my child. I've abandoned my boy.
I am a false prophet. God is a superstition.
After all, it's one hell of a show.
That should do it.
