Felipe Medrado’s review published on Letterboxd:
The epitome of a "perfect film". I wept every time Wilem Dafoe farted.
Since i don't turn 17 until March, I bought a ticket to Gemini Man in order to pass the AMC ID check and make it into The Lighthouse. I went to the opposite side of the building to find the right theater but there were some personnel standing around the door, so I instead caught the last 20 minutes of Zombieland: Double Tap, which was absolute dogshit. After the nightmare ended I slipped past the workers and saw one of the best movies of 2019.
I'm really happy that I was able to see The VVitch beforehand, because I think the experience would've been underwhelming. Don't get me wrong, both films are 10/10, but The Lighthouse is clearly the superior flick.
And don't worry Dafoe, I like your lobster.
10/10
