Tenet

Tenet ★★★★½

First off let me say, what Christopher Nolan, Hoyte van Hoytema and the stunt crew did here is absolutely outstanding. There's nothing like it. It's a tremendous achievement in cinema.
I'm just a sucker for Nolan's visuals, paired with a banging score (and this score is amazing).
The story isn't anything special, but it's a typical Spy-Thriller story and quite alright. The Inversion stuff is confusing, but I don't mind that and understood a lot more on the second watch.
I actually like that this movie makes you want to rewatch it closely, think about the science behind it and I personally wanted to learn more about it.
The critique about the lack of emotion isn't one I can understand, because I think it fits the movie. It's quite hard, very serious and I didn't miss it.
I also really liked and enjoyed the whole cast, so I didn't feel disconnected to them. Washington, Pattinson, Debicki, Branagh, Patel, Taylor-Johnson are all great.
It may not be among Nolan's absolute best movies or is another instant masterpiece to me (like Dunkirk was), but it's still a very good movie and you won't find action like this anywhere else.
I can see myself rewatching this regularly, because there are still things I can discover and it's a hell of a ride
