Fernando Pelaez Rovalo’s review published on Letterboxd:
I always have a great time with the Spider-Man movies. Since I was a child, he has been my favorite superhero, and it’s nice to see Tom Holland live up to who the characters is. After Avengers: Endgame, it’s nice to see the movie go back to a more playful tone. Not that having a dreary tone is a bad thing, it worked wonderfully for Endgame. However, it’s nice to see things go back on track with a fun and nice continuation to the events that happened before. It’s everything I want from a fun summer blockbuster and a Marvel movie. Plus there’s a lot of things that hint to what’s about to come for Spider-Man and company, and it seems like the writers and creatives at Marvel are going the right way. Fun time, can’t wait to see what’s next!
Side note: Marvel movies need to be more subtle about being an obvious Audi commercial.
