This is a debut that has been percolating gradually for quite some time now, and it has blossomed into the best possible version of what it could be.
Even down to the bare bones of its editorial architecture, Lady Bird understands that the fleeting moments of our senior year are indeed that; snapshots. As we move onto the next set of a thousand frames per second, without a moment to reflect, we can only hope we have been guided appropriately.
