Absolutely incredible film. This film can be both melancholy and funny which I like. I love Ben as a character so much and often I found myself relating to him in the way he’s uncertain about what he wants to do in the future. And that soundtrack too-did Simon and Garfunkel write “Mrs Robinson” for this film or was it already an existing song? I’ll have to find out either way it’s a banger. Also I love how lots of the shots contain messages e.g the shot at the end of the zoo scene symbolising Ben being trapped. This film is just perfect so it’s hard to describe in a review.
This is replacing the Hunt (2012) in my top ten but they’re both fantastic so check both of them out.
