One of the more deeply frustrating watches in recent memory. The core of the story is undeniably beautiful - simply watching Pat and Terry talk about and to each other is more than enough to pull on your heartstrings. The film also works on a moment to moment basis, coasting on the strength of that real life story and the pure, unadulterated love displayed on screen.
But when it's all over, it feels like a giant missed opportunity. When all is said and done, do we really get to know Pat and Terry as individuals and as a couple? Do we really get to dive into the ins and outs of their story together, especially while they were young? Do…
