bye gotta go break up with my perfect husband because eric from 3rd period is just too irresistible
Literally the most disgusting scene my eyes have ever experienced is when they’re both in the car and she starts playing Frank Ocean thinking bout you song and he’s like omg I didn’t know teachers listened to this stuff 🤪 and she’s like oh I’m just built different 😏✨ Frank ocean if you saw that scene I’m so sorry
who allowed boyfriend by justin bieber to play after an underage student kisses his teacher? and then continues the song into the trigger warning at the end of the episode?........ JAIL
nick robinson could text me at 2:44 am and i would literally text him back at 2:43 am so you can imagine what this show is doing to me
ep 6-7
every tuesday i take my silly little laptop to tune into this silly little show with a plot i care nothing about and watch characters i do not like just because
i think my brain exploded at the end of the 2nd episode where they used boyfriend by justin bieber for the credits.
am i so unbelievably uncomfortable? yes
do i want the rest of the episodes now? also yes
i’m so conflicted about this show.....it almost sexualizes the grooming at some parts in my opinion and it’s incredibly creepy. the way they portrayed each sex scene was almost as if it was some “taboo, sexy fantasy” that lingered a bit too long on the fact that they had sex, and didn’t focus enough time on how toxic their relationship actually was. all the vibes are definitely a little weird and it definitely was not the way to go about it in a mainstream tv show.
however, the only reason i kept watching was because of kate mara (who is always under-appreciated imo!!!) and her empathetic performance as claire. she’s somehow able to bring a much-needed nuance to everything that…
I have fucking dreams about you
And I don’t want to get you in trouble
I feel like I can’t control myself around you
🔥🔥🔥 woooo it’s hot so far, 3 episodes in and this is the really well done steamy trash I thought it would be ... can’t wait for more👻
this show would have been good if they didn't romanticize the creepy relationship and make it appealing for some viewers .. its giving "13 reasons" why tease
Hahahhaa
Not even gonna give this a star review cause
Um
Yeah
Just comical honestly
Kinda embarrassed I watched it
But it was quite entertaining I must say
In a very cringey way
this is like a bad fan fiction but horribly illegal 😓 and not even in a fun way
p.s i cannot believe i witnessed will stronghold slap a child predator cause it makes her hot and heavy..
While this miniseries i found to be extremely watchable, their was some odd narrative choices and character decisions that left it ot having any really meaningful impact. The soundtrack was odd at points and the sex felt like fantasy more than anything else. There was little sympathy for either character generated by the end.
mano.... que serie maluca. recomendo pra caralho mas namoral... que doido.
watched this cause i thought hm, i wonder how they’ll handle this topic. and the answer was pretty badly until the second half (and the last scene!!). looking forward to watching a new show that does not inspire anger in me every few minutes.
Gotta love it when a story turns on a character doing something she would absolutely never do based on everything that’s been established about her to that point. But the fact that I didn’t quit entirely after the sixth episode means it’s not the worst thing ever. And Kate Mara does a great job with the mediocre material.
I love that Kate Mara was cast in this because the first time I ever saw her was in EVERWOOD nearly 20 years ago when she played a high school student who had an affair with her music teacher and got pregnant. Watching the role reversal just felt like everything coming full circle.
I was in an abusive relationship when I was kid that I never really admitted to myself was abusive until about a year ago. After the relationship was over, I put the memory of it away in a box believing that if I never thought about it, it couldn't affect me. Obviously this is completely untrue. I unknowingly lived with the trauma of the abuse for over…
