Scavenger Hunt 63: a Robin Williams film
(Full disclosure, I only watched this movie because it was 10:35pm on June 30th and I had to finish the "Robin Williams" challenge from this month's scavenger hunt before midnight. This is one of his only films under 85 minutes long.)
Obviously this is worse than the original Aladdin (which is, in my humble and correct opinion, the best Disney movie ever made). In comparison to the original, Aladdin and the King of Thieves has a tenth of the creativity and a millionth of the budget. But as far as Disney direct-to-video sequels go, this might as well be high art. Also I have a crush on Aladdin. So while I didn't like it much, I also didn't feel soul-crushingly disappointed.
But please, if you're thinking of watching this, just rewatch the original.
