''Aria dersy to you too...''
Badly lit. Badly written. Badly edited. Badly mixed. Badly directed. But god if it wasn't charming.
Just a wholesome as hell, and completely predictable, story about an old dude dying of cancer who spends his last days hanging out with hood-rat Halle Berry and her best friend.
It's just BET Intouchables, and that's all it needs to be.
Well... maybe not all it needs to be. It really should have been a musical.
So many scenes feel like they're about to become song and dance scenes—especially toward the end of the film—but then the film just cuts away to the next scene without Halle Berry getting a chance to sing about how her homeboy misses her on the real and how she misses him on the real too. Disappointing.
Damien Chazelle B.A.P.S. remake when?
