Definitely one of the strongest films I've seen in 2019 (for now, I know we're only in march). The directing was superb, the acting was fantastic, all the three main characters were interesting, complex and sympathetic (Denis Ménochet being my favorite). The ideas and themes were very well utilized and the score fit the film perfectly.
The only problem I had with the film is that it did start to drag near the third act although I thought the ending was really good. And I do want to add that it's not an easy watch, it has a very disturbing and sad subject matter and while the film handled it well, it's very easy to understand why some people might not want to watch it. But I do really recommend it, it's a very well made, heartbreaking, though provoking and kind of important movie.
