Characters are assholes for the sake of being assholes. The dialogue has a flow, but it feels wrong. Probably because of adapting it from a play. Wich also causes the scenes to be very play-like; (One character talks to one other character in every time a contained, new location). This is not necessarily a bad thing, but it was noticeable. Performances are pretty great.
Sometimes I wanted to just stop watching, but then it engaged me and I genuinely like it again for 20 minutes. This on repeat. Throughout the film.
Never wanted to stop watching because it was bad. It felt 'off' or I didn't wanted to watch a shithead doing a shithead thing.
Ps: Also this is maybe one of those films that represents the time it is set in perfectly.
