    A meticulously crafted pulp thriller, visually engrossing albeit narratively lunkheaded, co-directed/written by such a man of duality as Lou Diamond Phillips. Blazing trailer here. Glamorous scene layouts, darklit ambiance, stylish photography and bright, shimmering desert highways—it's surprising how pretty they can make these movies given how few people (your one and only excluded) take them seriously. So bad it's great: goofy and unbelievable story/characters, damn fine expository dialogue (Ex: "You're diabolical!" followed by "I can't help it. I'm a career criminal; it's my nature.     Lou Diamond Phillips directs, helps write and stars in this erotic flick you would expect to see on Late Night Cinemax.

    Wow! Talk about glorious. The lead lady likes to get naked, and she looks like Kim Dawson. LDP is a pimp or something close to that. You can tell what parts of story he wrote, because we have some ridiculous horny dialogue. LDP has hot sex with the lead, Kate Vernon. Kate’s character is an author / therapist / radio talk show host. She gives sex advice on the air. I think my friend, Andy Summers calls her, and asks her about his obsession with Kristen Stewart. 

    Overall, Dangerous Touch is a ridiculous film with an even more ridiculous ending, but I couldn’t help but enjoy every single second of it. Happy Thanksgiving!

    Lou Diamond Philips' erotic thriller has him playing an anti-hero prick who I thought was going to be the main bad guy but then Max Gail then turned out to be the main heavy and I was disappointed. Why didn't she shoot Philips' too at the end? I will say the sex scenes are steamy and all the production could be better, looks rather cheap.

    Lou Diamond Phillips wrote and directed and starred in this erotic thriller. That is a weird fact. It is possibly more interesting than the film itself for the most part. Phillips' direction is solid and clear but doesn't set up tension very well, which is kind of a misfire for a thriller. The script is also fine, and has a few of the crazy/fun lines you always expect/hope to hear in thrillers like this.

    Phillips himself isn't a great piece of casting for con man/dominant lover Mick Borroughs, and comedic actor Max Gail is horribly miscast as fearsome gangster Jasper Stone, but there is a fun, small appearance from a pre-Assistant Director Skinner Mitch Pileggi. The best part of the…
