I sort of developed a good taste, I know is subjective, but there are some basic rules and basic characteristics that can make everyone agree on a film and make at least, put 2,5 stars.
I’m disappointed by seeing so much criticism, at the same time, that’s why I don’t really pay attention on votes, I rarely agree with them.
It got a great cast, Jim Sturgess is cool af (guys, that’s how you should dress, put in the trash that swagg hip-hop sporty brands shit).
it’s set in the eighties and I can say it’s perfectly represented, not in a overly dramatic way, but in a naturalized but stylish glance.
The color palette is fleeting, luminous but at the same time, dirty, as the main character.
The soundtrack fits and it’s also quite original,
the story goes fluently and seduce us gently.
Not a masterpiece, not something that will change your life, but a simply good damn movie.
