Mit "Feed" geht es mir wie mit @fabiandoehla: viele wenden sich angewidert ab, weil ihnen schlecht wird und sind schockiert von dieser Aneinanderreihung von Szenen, die einzig und allein auf Shock Value aus sind (und unter deren Oberfläche eine selbstentlarvende Tiefe lauert).
Aber ich mag diesen kranken Bastard einfach.

Wants to be controversial and provocative, comes across as dull and messy. Feed is an Australian film about a guy that kidnaps large women and feeds them to death, while broadcasting it over the internet. Potentially good premise I think you'll agree, but not handled in the best way by director Brett Leonard (once the go-to guy for futuristic depictions of technology gone awry with The Lawnmower Man and Virtuosity, now relegated to this kind of thing), with bizarre visual choices, tonal inconsistencies, poor acting and cod-philosophising about the fashion industry and the media's depiction of women that seemed heavy handed and out of place. Less of that, more fat birds eating burgers please. Feed left me hungry for a better film.

Ist schon etwas her, das ich einen Film gesehen hab, der mich angeekelt hat, aber hier war das nach langem mal wieder der Fall.
Schwimmt etwas im Fahrwasser von "Sieben", denn es dreht es um einen Polizisten, der eine Webseite entdeckt, auf der Frauen zu Tode gefüttert werden. Sogenannte "Feeder" Mesten diese so lange, bis sie ein Rekordgewicht auf die Waage bringen und nichts mehr ohne diesen machen können. Nachdem immer mehr Frauen verschwinden, beginnt die Jagd auf den Inhaber der Webseite der zugleich auch der Oberfeeder.
Loben muss man auf jeden Fall Alex O'Loughlin der hier als Feeder eine seiner ersten Rollen bekommt hat und wirklich alles gibt. Da wird die 600 Pfund Frau mal eben mit Ketchup und…
