At first I was like "uggh a musical with too much pirate shit," but then the ghost ship showed up with the ghost pirates and I was like "aye matey, that's cool af."
OK so I am definitely like Garfield falling asleep in front of WBOR, probably a late-night horror movie or the weather forecast or an infomercial that came on while I was too tired to turn off the television waking up to the dreaded Binkie The Clown exhorting people to get up and exercise. Like Garfield I will only take the opportunity of having awoken to be happy to turn off Binkie The Clown and go back to sleep.

A telepathic cat with an eating disorder finds out he’s not much of a fan of John Carpenter’s work.

ok so in this garfield says jon is the only man he trusts to change his litterbox so hes smart enough to go trick-or-treating, captain a boat, feed chocolate to a dog (!!) and speak english but he still makes a guy pick up his shit?????
anyway this is a fun & scary cartoon for kids and now i wanna track down the u.s.acres halloween special where orson j. pig ends up in a slaughterhouse
I feel certain that I will be doing a ghost pirate Double Feature of this and [the newly seen for me] The Fog for Halloween next year.
Ever since I was a kid, I always had a fondness for Garfield, the lazy cynical orange cat that popped into comic strips five years AFTER the other popular orange cat Heathcliff (let's settle the beef, both were pretty good in their prime, but the curmudgeon nature of Garfield can be more relatable than Heathcliff's unpredictable free-thinker antics). Having read and owned plenty of the collections, watched all the specials and episodes of Garfield and Friends multiple times, and owning other related books of incredibly varied quality bearing the fat cat's name (my prized possession of course being the book that straight-up gives you insults to tell to other people that bug you), you could say I was a bit…
It's got action! It's got comedy! It's got drama! It's got romance! It's got suspense! The Saw franchise, the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, and every Eli Roth movie are complete copies of Garfield's Halloween Adventure.
I watch this every year when carving pumpkins. One of my all time favorite Halloween specials.
i definitely thought jon would never even let them out the front door to go trick or treating
Better than The Great Pumpkin and scarier than mostly anything else geared towards kids in the 80s. The final 5-7 minutes turns into a Carpenter movie and it's absolute insanity.
How can one apply a star rating to a perfect thing?
Watched on YouTube, complete with intact ‘80s commercial breaks.
A HALLOWEEN TRADITION IN MY HOUSE FOR OVER 30 YEARS...MY DAUGHTER AND I GOT IT ON DVD AND WOW!...IT WAS LIKE WATCHING A WHOLE DIFFERENT SPECIAL AS OPPOSED TO MY ORIGINAL OLD VHS...GREAT SPECIAL,SPOOKY VIBE...WONDERFUL ENTERTAINMENT....CANDY CANDY CANDY!!!!
Third time watch. Being Swedish and not growing up with Halloween this has now become my first real Halloween tradition. I LOVE this. It's such a great story about friendship.
