I used to watch this movie ALL THE TIME as a kid. So much so that apparently 95% of it has been burned into my brain. HTWWF is a fever dream. Twin Peaks for kids, even.
Also, Martin Mull is at peak hotness in this.

Total nostalgia, but holds up. This movie really does great in bringing out the love for nature and the outdoors. Whenever anyone talks about campfires I always think of the song. Also Bart is such a fink. I want to go camping now.
