Catching up on all things Jim Cummings before I go into his newest film. His direction is impeccable for being such a small force in the movie world. I guarantee that this guy will truly surface after his newest feature film comes out.
This is shot so well and had incredible pace and rhythm to it. I like the one-shot aspect, as well as the crisp colors mixed with great chemistry in the movement. It's one of those re-visiting short films that grabs you after its over. The audio was a bit rough, you could hear frequent audio hits from the shirt mic, probably should've just been recorded with a boom. But I enjoy that aspect of it still because it's very Jim. Thunder Road is one of the most surprising films of the last few years, so I'm really excited for this guy!
