I have to seriously question the intelligence of whoever is sitting in a bar and decides to pick a fight on a whim with Jean-Claude Van Damme who is wearing only a tank top showing off his impeccable physique.
Stunts - 74/100 | Some good stuff sprinkled throughout!
Narrative - 48/100 | Terrible writing salvaged only by Van Damme's moves. The plot is purely "this happens so we get there", from beginning to end. Characters are slaves to the plot. The bar sequence near the middle was definitely the best scene of the movie.
Fight Choreography - 79/100 | Fights are too one-sided. But when it's vicious, it works. I really liked the aesthetics of the final fight. The atmosphere, mood, soundtrack, blended well together!
Enjoyment - 60/100 | Enjoyable but set back by dubious acting and a predictable plot formula.
Van Damme's kicks though. They're the real star!
