Clive Owen as King Arthur is solid. He exudes leadership.
Supposedly, the film takes a more historical approach to Arthur and his knights. I doubt it, but it is a fun movie to watch.
I did watch the Director's Cut which seemed to drag in some areas and I wonder if these scenes were in the theatrical cut.
Arthur and his men are tasked with one final mission before they (Arthur is Roman his men are not) are to be given their freedom as they are really servants to the Roman Empire.
But the mission puts them in harm's way of an invading Saxon army led by a bad ass, Stellan Skarsgård.
Some excellent battle scenes.
Keira Knightley, as Guinevere, is one of the hottest green painted gals in cinema (next to the Star Trek gal in the Original Series).
Alot of stars, Ioan Gruffudd, Mads Mikkelsen, Joel Edgerton, Hugh Dancy, Ray Winstone, and Ray Stevenson are Arthur's remaingin knights.
