Is it even good? no.
Has this movie made me laugh, smile and cry since I first saw it when I was eight years old? absolutely.
Has this movie affected who I am as a person and what values I hold dear, despite and probably because of the cheese? yes
Will I continue to watch and love this movie for the rest of my life? undoubtedly.

This will definitely not be most people's reactions, but this movie for whatever reason has always had a place very near my heart. I can remember the different places I was where I watched it, whether it be with my mom in bed, on a roadtrip on those tvs…

i first saw (part of) last holiday at jury duty, which i believe is where most discerning cinephiles attend the cinema?? not sure but i think i read that somewhere. i only saw part of it because i got called and then actually selected and i had to do the whole thing, which sucked sh*t sorry i dont care about my civic duty it f*ckeng blows!!! my mom doesn't get called for jury doody anymore because when i was a little baby child like 20 years ago i had some kind of mild short term illness or something and now the state thinks she's a caretaker for a diseased childperson so i guess that's my excuse next time. sorry cant…

Je voulais regarder ce film dans la seule perspective de booster mes stats LB de Gérard Depardieu, mais ça m’a jeté par terre parce que c’est de la tabarnak de claque. Quelle prémisse, quand même. Queen Latifah se fait diagnostiquer trois semaines à vivres, criss drette-là sa job mal payée dans un magasin grande surface et part en Europe s’épivarder avec faste et sassiness, savourant un privilège que lui ont toujours refusé le racisme et le capitalisme.
