2007 Directed by Michael Schroeder
The story of an aspiring young filmmaker's encounter with a grumpy fount of movie lore.
This movie opens with Christopher Plummer sitting in an empty movie theatre, drinking and watching His Girl Friday. I've never felt so well represented before
You may be wondering, why is of my favourite movies Man IN THE CHAIR?
Well is of my favourites because i love so much the messages that gives this movie and the perfomances, the messages of how does the movie industry forgets about the old people who were stars in some decades along, and how do they forget about them, just leaving them in nursing home, even there own sons.
Another awesome message is the magic of making a film and how the inspiration wakes up, when you are planning on making something you love, an good exampple was the main character (the young boy) wich is inspired to make a documental about the bad nursing homes in the usa,…
"We never lose our gifts, only our opportunity to open them."
El amor al cine dura toda la vida.
Christopher Plummer's work is good and maybe the best reason to see this film but I found it boring and too abundant in the terms of cliches.
Christopher Plumer y una historia sobre el abandono de los veteranos técnicos de la producciones de hollywood combinado con la trama del cine dentro del cine, logra rescatar una película floja visualmente.

After-school special about old people, horribly edited like an emo music video.
Has its heart (and Christopher Plummer) in the right place, though.
